'If Aidan thinks he can do it, who's to say no?' - Wesley Ward and Kieren Fallon on City Of Troy's Breeders' Cup Classic chances

Leading US trainer Wesley Ward is convinced the stars have aligned for City Of Troy, who he believes can become just the second European horse this century to win the Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday.

Ward questioned the ability of the home team to repel the Aidan O'Brien-trained Derby, Eclipse and Juddmonte International winner and considers Del Mar the best dirt track for turf performers to translate their form.

His faith in City Of Troy's credentials is shared by riding legend Kieren Fallon who thinks O'Brien's hot favourite will take some stopping if he is able to get a handy position early on in the 1m2f event.
