SIS has launched a new subsidiary in the US

SIS believes now is the right time to put feet on the ground in the United States with the launch of a US subsidiary and an eye on the possibilities surrounding fixed-odds betting on horseracing in the rapidly evolving market.

Chief executive Richard Ames also said the move into the US could provide new openings for British and Irish horseracing.

The company said that SIS Content Services, led by Michele Fischer, could provide US sportsbooks with a portfolio of thousands of horse and greyhound races "quickly and easily", while it could offer US racetracks fixed-odds distribution of their racing content both domestically and globally.
