I couldn't risk damaging Edwardstone - but fingers crossed we can run at Ascot

After last week’s anti-climax, I'm considering running in the Jim Barry Wines Hurst Park Handicap Chase at Ascot on Saturday.

We'll see what the weather does. I'd love to give him a run and apparently there's rain coming so fingers crossed conditions will be fine for him.

Carrying a big weight in a handicap will obviously be much harder than taking on a small field in the Shloer Chase but it's Ascot or nowhere.
