Venetia Williams had plenty to smile about last season, ending the campaign with 57 winners and just short of £1.5 million in prize-money.

The highlights on the track included Royale Pagaille winning the first Grade 1 of his career in the Betfair Chase and L'Homme Presse shrugging off a long layoff to land the Fleur De Lys Chase at Lingfield.

"We finished fourth of the British-based trainers in the standings last season, which you have to be very pleased with," says Williams, who has a team of 85 horses to look forward to running.
