Grand National hero One For Arthur may be out for the season owing to a tendon injury but it is still set to be an exciting campaign for Lucinda Russell and her team, with Big River heading a promising squad.

Deborah Thomson, one of the Two Golf Widows who own One For Arthur, is behind the Two Black Labs, who own Big River, for whom big races down south are being eyed up if all goes well on his imminent chase debut at Kelso.

One For Arthur's big win has been the catalyst for an influx of young talent, as Russell explains: "We know we can keep producing these staying chasers, that's what we're really good at, and on the back of the Grand National we've got some nice young horses coming through.
