Brian Sheerin talks to the resurgent master of Cullentra House

If this season was all about rebuilding for Gordon Elliott, there's an argument to be made that the master of Cullentra House has built back better than ever.

It didn't take long for the pecking order to be re-established after Elliott served his six-month suspension. He has amassed 112 winners domestically, which is 34 fewer than champion trainer Willie Mullins but 28 more than his closest pursuer Henry de Bromhead has managed this season.

There have been five Grade 1 triumphs in that time, including with Galvin in the Savills Chase and Conflated in the Irish Gold Cup.
