Donald McCain did just that – and at his beloved Aintree, too – when Minella Drama gained a deserved victory in last month's Old Roan Chase.
The classy nine-year-old is one of a select few proven older horses at Bankhouse Stables, where the focus is on the future with McCain's strength lying with some exciting novice chasers – headed by the returning Maximilian – and an array of novice hurdle types.
