'Some small trainers might not survive - but bigger trainers are in trouble too'

Juggling the daily challenges of running a business in these uncertain times has led to many a restless night for Rebecca Menzies, but the Sedgefield trainer admits she has always struggled to switch off.
"I don't really sleep as I have things going through my mind and I worry about taking my eye off the ball," she says with her hands wrapped around a cup of tea after a cold work morning at Howe Hills Stables.
Having reached £1 million in prize-money at the start of 2020 following a career of steady progression, she is determined not to let what has happened since undo years of hard work.
