Frankel sees off Faugheen to join Desert Orchid in next stage of People's Champion vote

Frankel won Tuesday's poll in the Racing Post's search for the favourite racehorse of all time to move into the second stage of voting.

Sir Henry Cecil's unbeaten superstar received 57 per cent of the votes as he beat Faugheen, Altior and The Tatling in the second People's Champion poll on the Racing Post's Twitter account.

Frankel joins Desert Orchid in the semi-finals, at which point the top 20 horses will be whittled down to a final five to be profiled in National Racehorse Week and put to a vote of all Racing Post readers.

Wednesday's poll pits Dancing Brave, Sea Bird, Borderlescott and Triptych against each other. The vote will be open from 10am until 4pm. Head to @RacingPost on Twitter to have your say.
