We've come to the end of a long season. There are many different ways in which we could look back at how things have gone since the first day of the campaign at the Ballymacad fixture at Oldcastle last September.

Whichever way you look, it's been another season which everyone in the point-to-point community can be proud of.

There was a high standard in the maidens from beginning to end, reflected in an extremely healthy sales season. As a result of that, the main players should be in a good position to go back to the market at the store-horse sales.
