Tynan & Armagh at Farmacaffley: Anseanachai on the march again

Last season’s champion pointer Anseanachai Cliste made a winning seasonal return in testing conditions at a Farmaclaffley meeting that had been postponed for four days due to wet ground.

The Bach gelding was odds-on for a second successive triumph in the Mullan Family Confined Hunt winners’ race and obliged with a three-length victory over Infrontofthejudge.

The nine-year-old gelding extended his winning run to eight and was partnered by his owner and regular rider Michael McConville, who was scoring for the first time this season.
