This 50-1 Arkle hope could be exciting over fences - but it's back to the drawing board with Jeriko
It says a lot about the changing nature of the Grand National that 66-1 about Saturday's Grand Sefton winner King Turgeon for the big one next April doesn't really hold much interest at all.
King Turgeon skipped round Aintree, looking very good as he marched clear after the last, and he stays three miles, as a victory over that trip at Exeter last season proves.
However, the extent to which the National fences have been neutered was very evident here, as most of the field skipped round without blemish apart from Harper's Brook, who was pulled up.
