The most notable ante-post move after Saturday's Long Walk Hurdle involved a horse who didn’t even run, with Teahupoo shortening into 7-4 for the Stayers' Hurdle in March.
That wasn't a surprise. Crambo did well to win his second consecutive Long Walk and all credit to him, but he failed at Cheltenham last season and may not even go there this time. He is 16-1 for the Stayers' Hurdle, while Strong Leader, disappointing at Ascot and much better at Aintree than Cheltenham anyway, is out to 25-1.
Teahupoo doesn't seem to fire the imagination of most punters for some reason, but the more you look for an alternative, the harder it is to find one.
