The Grand National picture looks clearer after Saturday's key trial and this contender makes plenty of appeal

The Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse, which I Am Maximus won last season before going on to land the 2024 Grand National, took centre stage at the weekend.
I Am Maximus was a non-runner on Saturday, but that should not detract from the performance of Nick Rockett, who made it nine Bobbyjo winners from the last ten runnings for trainer Willie Mullins.
The eight-year-old’s victory saw him post a career-best Racing Post Rating of 159, but he was in receipt of weight from the second Intense Raffles (160) and third Capodanno (159).
