The promise of riches in New Zealand has persuaded dual all-weather champion apprentice George Rooke to leave his role with trainer Richard Hughes and relocate to the other side of the world.
Rooke closed a chapter on his career with a winner on his last ride in Britain at Haydock on Saturday and will this week head to New Zealand, where the racing industry is being transformed following last year's link-up with Entain.
