New NHS gambling clinic opens in Sunderland

The NHS has opened its latest clinic to help people suffering from gambling addiction, a move Health Secretary Matt Hancock described as "an important step forward".
Based at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland, it is the second NHS gambling clinic to open outside of London following the launch of the NHS Northern Gambling Service in Leeds in September.
The launch came with another call for the gambling industry to increase its financial contribution to tackling problem gambling.
