The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, Europe's most prestigious Flat race, turns 100 at Longchamp on Sunday, the first edition having been run in 1920.

10 Montjeu (1999)
Everything about Montjeu gave the distinct impression he knew he was good. That he was actually one of the very best we have seen was clear to everyone, not least Japan's passionate racing fans, on the day he delivered one of the Arc's most thrilling winning displays.
