Jockeys trading breeches for football kit in annual IJF charity match

Nico de Boinville and Paddy Brennan are among the big names who will be swapping their breeches for football shorts in the Injured Jockeys Fund annual football match at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium in Cheltenham on Wednesday.

The event raised £45,000 for the IJF last year and looks sure to draw a big crowd again with a line-up of famous faces including Dennis Wise and Chris Hughes.

The Unibet Invitation XI, managed by trainer Nicky Henderson, takes on an Sir Anthony McCoy side featuring Ben Pauling, Wayne Hutchinson and former Premier League footballer Lee Hendrie.
