'Jim Bolger told me Poetic Flare was the best he's trained before his debut'

The 2,000 Guineas was a thriller – what do you make of the first three home?
Rupert Bell, broadcaster I was very happy with the result as I tipped Poetic Flare and it was an extraordinary training performance. The fact he had a strong pace to aim at helped him settle but if the first two meet again the placings could be reversed.
Brendan Duke, trainer Jim Bolger’s judgment is impeccable – he was telling me before Poetic Flare made his debut last season that this is the best he has trained. He was very impressive in the Guineas and I wouldn’t be surprised if Jim tries to go and win the French and Irish Guineas now.
Lee Jones, Betfred I’m not sure how strong the form is going to be and on softer ground, which is possible at the Curragh, you could see a different result. Poetic Flare was well positioned through the race and Master Of The Seas was the only horse to make up any ground, which makes his run look even better.
