Blink and you'll miss the entrance to Savill House Stables.
The secluded yard is shielded from the bustle of St Mary's Square by buildings taller than any in the yard itself. Google Maps is not your friend either, sending you off on a fruitless journey to the yard's backdoor, which sports a rather unhelpful 'no entry' sign, adding further confusion to those uninitiated to Newmarket.
The correct access is flanked by parked cars and guarded by an imposing metal gate, but once you finally breach the defences a thriving yard lies within, from which fledgling trainer Ben Brookhouse is quietly embarking on an impressive start to his new career.
