Have you ever had one of those days where everything just seems to fall perfectly into place? They may be few and far between but, when the stars align, there are few better feelings.
Steve Whiteley certainly knows what it feels like.
Ten years ago on Monday the heating engineer from North Tawton in Devon set off with a handful of mates for some light entertainment at Exeter racecourse. The only reason he was there was because of a promotional campaign offering free entry by the track and from that moment lady luck never left his side.
