'He's a very fair price for the Supreme' - exciting novice hurdler runs at Navan

There's plenty of quality on display at Navan on Sunday and the race I'm most looking forward to over the weekend is the For Auction Novice Hurdle (12.40).

I tend to take greater interest in novice hurdles and chases than other races with an eye towards Cheltenham, and My Mate Mozzie is one I'm really looking forward to in this Grade 3 over 2m.

While rival Chemical Energy won impressively last time, I was more taken by how the Gavin Cromwell-trained five-year-old opened his account over hurdles at Punchestown last month. He looked very smart when beating a useful type by eight lengths in a decent time.
