The Godolphin horses have already started the Dubai Carnival with a bang – Charlie Appleby and Saeed bin Suroor bagged seven winners between them on the first two Fridays – and the success seems sure to continue as this powerful team eyes targets both across the Middle East and, looking further ahead, in Europe as spring progresses.
Here we ask the trainers to mark our card for the remainder of the Dubai World Cup Carnival.

He was fifth in the UAE 2,000 Guineas Trial on the dirt last week, which was a bit of a disappointment, but he'll definitely come forward for his first experience of the surface. He was very good in the stalls after a lot of work by the team over here, so we'll see how he comes out of the race and still look towards the Guineas for his next start.
