Came From The Dark ready for a step up in class in Palace House

My new column starts at a time when the horses are in great nick and I hope Came From The Dark can underline their good form with a big run in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

He's always promised to be a smart horse, he's come good this year and is ready for a step up in class after winning a handicap at Newbury.

A stiff 5f is ideal for him and this doesn't look an outstanding Palace House. If he won, he could go on to the Temple Stakes at Haydock. Otherwise we would look at the Achilles.
