He started the week with a trainers' title deficit of €521,414 and ended it €809,524 clear of Gordon Elliott. Even in Mullins' own language, that's sensational stuff.

The numbers are mind-boggling – 18 winners, 12 seconds, nine thirds, nine Grade 1 victories. Those numbers would have been even more magnificent had Al Boum Photo grabbed the glory on Tuesday. Astonishing.
