Emily Upjohn 'a beauty' but Clover happy to take her on with Rogue Millennium
Tom Clover, trainer of Lingfield Oaks Trial winner Rogue Millennium, is relishing the prospect of taking on Wednesday's impressive Musidora Stakes winner Emily Upjohn at Epsom next month.
Emily Upjohn's York victory sent her odds for the Cazoo Oaks crashing but it was not enough to dampen the hopes of Rogue Millennium's connections, who will supplement their filly at a cost of £30,000 for the Epsom Classic.
"She's come out of it bouncing and is full of herself," Newmarket-based Clover said on Thursday. "She looks in great shape physically and the plan is very much to supplement for the Oaks. I don't think we'll go to Epsom for Breakfast With The Stars, I'll train her here and try and get her A1 for the Oaks."
