Gordon Elliott believes Galvin is "tailor-made" for the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup and the trainer's confidence is being shared by bookmakers, with one leading firm on Sunday making the eight-year-old joint-favourite alongside A Plus Tard.

Gordon Elliott admitted to being surprised by the gears his Savills Chase winner has been showing in his work building up to the Cheltenham highlight on March 18.

Galvin has been one of the surprise packages of the season and put his name firmly in the Gold Cup picture when outbattling A Plus Tard in a memorable tussle at Leopardstown over Christmas.
