The split peas refused to soften but Delia's squash and leek soup is a triumph
I got into bed sneezing and get out of bed sneezing.
All had seemed well until late on Sunday evening when my nose started to fail me. My nose has often been a problem, right back to the time I ran into my parents' bedroom to tell them my nostrils had disappeared. That nightmare has fortunately never returned.
With the symptoms well known, there is certainly no need for any concern about the sniffles. There is also no need to do much work on this particular Monday. One week feels no different to another week at the moment, but the calendar says this is definitely a day off, so the sniffles are well timed.
