Owners' silks get sent straight to your phone - and all to support the NHS
Racehorse owners have been denied the pleasure of seeing their horses race for many weeks – but thanks to a clever fundraising effort for the NHS, owners' colours are still in action.
Weatherbys have expressed delight at the response from owners and racing fans, who can now purchase a special wallpaper or lock screen for their mobile phone that displays their own or favourite set of racing silks.
In the space of a week more than 400 downloads have been sent out, with all proceeds generated going directly to the NHS.
Anyone wishing to obtain the mobile silks can do so by donating as much as they wish to the NHS from £2 upwards, with the silks then emailed directly as a download.
