The sporting calendar has been devastated by the coronavirus pandemic but the hunt for value will still be taking armchair punters around the globe this weekend.

With British racing called off and football suspended until at least April 30, the unprecedented sporting shutdown has laid waste to the betting landscape.

In the pre-internet era, punters might have been reduced to betting on raindrops trickling down window panes or two flies crawling across a table top. However, bookmakers' live-streaming services have enabled them to tackle this crisis creatively, focusing on the more arcane competitions still going ahead.
