Constitution Hill takes on Jonbon and Dysart Dynamo in Supreme Novices' Hurdle
Constitution Hill will face stablemate Jonbon and the Willie Mullins-trained Dysart Dynamo when the Cheltenham Festival starts with a bang on Tuesday in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle (1.30).
Last year's Champion Bumper winner Sir Gerhard misses the race in favour of the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle on Wednesday, with a final field of nine declared for the Supreme.
Unbeaten in two starts under rules and a wide-margin winner of the Grade 1 Tolworth Novices' Hurdle, the Nicky Henderson-trained Constitution Hill will be partnered by Nico de Boinville, with Aidan Coleman set to renew his association with Jonbon.
Cheltenham Tuesday racecards and betting
Paul Townend rides Dysart Dynamo, while Patrick Mullins rides his Willie Mullins-trained stablemate Kilcruit.
Bring On The Night, Jpr One, Mighty Potter, Shallwehaveonemore and Silent Revolution complete the field.
Edwardstone, among Britain's leading hopes for the week, heads a final field of 11 for Tuesday's Sporting Life Arkle (2.10), but faces a stiff Irish challenge from the likes of Blue Lord and Riviere D'Etel.
Winner of his last four starts, including the Grade 1 Henry VIII Novices' Chase, Edwardstone will be bidding to give trainer Alan King his third win in the Arkle, having previously struck with Voy Por Ustedes and My Way De Solzen.
Brave Seasca, Coeur Sublime, Gabynako, Haut En Couleurs, Red Rookie, Saint Sam, War Lord and Magic Daze complete the field.
Only seven runners will contest the Ukraine Appeal National Hunt Chase (5.30), although it does feature ante-post market leaders Run Wild Fred and Stattler.
Rebecca Curtis has a strong hand in a race she won with Teaforthree in 2012, fielding both Pats Fancy and Beatthebullet this time.
Confirmed runners and riders for the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham on Tuesday
As well as Stattler, Mullins will also run Ontheropes, while Braeside joins his Gordon Elliott-trained stablemate Run Wild Fred.
Gavin Cromwell is the only other trainer represented in the race and relies on last year's Albert Bartlett winner Vanillier.
Ante-post favourite Telmesomethinggirl heads a final field of 12 for the Grade 1 Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle (4.10), while both the Ultima and Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle have attracted full fields, of 24 and 22 respectively.
Former Ryanair Chase winner Frodon heads the weights in the Ultima (2.50), which also includes the Kim Bailey-trained Does He Know.
