Confirmed runners and riders for Friday's Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot
Last year's champion two-year-old filly Inspiral will make her belated return to action in Friday's Group 1 Coronation Stakes (4.20) at Royal Ascot but Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Homeless Songs misses the race.
Winter favourite for the 1,000 Guineas before she was ruled out, Inspiral has reportedly been slow to come to hand this season and will make her first start for 252 days.
Quick ground means Homeless Songs misses out but Cachet, winner of the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket, and French 1,000 Guineas winner Mangoustine both take their chance in a field of 12.
Prosperous Voyage, runner-up to Cachet at Newmarket, represents Ralph Beckett, while Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf scorer Pizza Bianca and the unbeaten Spendarella are fascinating contenders for the US.
Jessica Harrington, successful in the Coronation with Alpha Centauri and Alpine Star in recent years, saddles Discoveries, while Aidan O'Brien relies on Tenebrism.

El Caballo heads big field for Commonwealth Cup
Exciting sprinter El Caballo is favourite to extend his unbeaten run to seven in Friday's Commonwealth Cup (3.05) and faces 19 rivals in the Group 1 contest.
Already successful on four occasions this year, El Caballo denied Flaming Rib by a neck in the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock last month and bids to give trainer Karl Burke his second win in the Commonwealth after Quiet Reflection's victory in 2016.
Flaming Rib renews rivalry for the Hugo Palmer team, while leading fancies Perfect Power, Ehraz and Go Bears Go have all been declared.
Big guns clash in Albany
Godolphin and Ballydoyle are set for a showdown in the Group 3 Albany Stakes (2.30), with the Saeed bin Suroor-trained Mawj taking on Meditate for Aidan O'Brien.
Mawj looked something out of the ordinary when making a winning debut at Newmarket last month but bookmakers narrowly favour the chances of Meditate, whose two wins include a Group 3 at Naas.
Beyond the market leaders, York winner Queen Olly looks a fascinating contender for David Loughnane and Amo Racing, with 18 going to post.
Derby form tested in King Edward VII
The form of the Derby will get an early test on Friday when Epsom fifth Changingoftheguard tackles Friday's Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes (5.35).
Only six have been declared for the 1m4f contest, with Godophin's Ottoman Fleet, winner of the Listed Fairway Stakes at Newmarket, among the more intriguing contenders.
Dark Moon Rising, Grand Alliance, Lysander and Savvy Victory complete the field.
