Charlie Parker: British racing needs 'significant modernisation' to survive

British racing requires "significant modernisation" if it is to survive, according to new Racehorse Owners Association president Charlie Parker.
He was addressing ROA members following the organisation's delayed AGM, held remotely due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Parker, who has taken over from Nicholas Cooper, said the ROA had "seen a transformational moment" and had "developed into an organisation that properly understands and represents owners".
