Chantry House and Champ among big guns entered at Cheltenham this weekend
Nicky Henderson and JP McManus could take dead aim at Cheltenham's card on Saturday after big guns Champ and Chantry House featured among the entries.
Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup contender Chantry House flopped in the King George VI Chase over Christmas, but won what was the Marsh at last year's festival and is 16-1 for the big one.
He is one of eight in the Paddy Power Cotswold Chase (2.30) and could face exciting novice Ahoy Senor.
Champ had been viewed as a Gold Cup hope in the autumn, but went back over hurdles to win Ascot's Long Walk before Christmas and is in the Welsh Marches Stallions At Chapel Stud Cleeve Hurdle (3.05).
4-1 for the Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle at the festival in March, he may meet Paisley Park and McFabulous.
Cheltenham also has the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle (3.40) on Saturday and Hillcrest, an emerging star for Henry Daly, is in that along with Balco Coastal.
Like Cheltenham, Doncaster will host races on ITV on Saturday and they include the Lightning Novices' Chase (1.35), in which Third Time Lucki is entered.
The Sky Bet Chase (3.20) also takes place on that bill and last year's runner-up Aye Right was one of 23 remaining in that after Monday's acceptance stage.
