Chacun Pour Soi and Altior on course for Champion Chase after confirmations
Chacun Pour Soi remains on course for next Wednesday's Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase at the six-day confirmations stage.
The nine-year-old is one of three short-priced favourites on the day for Willie Mullins, along with Monkfish (Brown Advisory Novices' Chase) and Kilcruit (Wetherbys Champion Bumper).
The nine-year-old is among 11 horses to stand their ground for the Grade 1 and is the general 4-5 favourite to get the better of two-time winner Altior and defending champion Politilogue.
Monkfish remains the 8-15 market leader for the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, but he will have to account for key market rivals The Big Breakaway, Eklat De Rire and Next Destination.
There remains a chance Mullins could have four favourites on the day, with Gaillard Du Mesnil (5-2 generally) vying for Ballymore Novices' Hurdle favouritism with current 9-4 market leader Bob Olinger.
Bravemansgame is just off the two market principals at 7-2, but will be respected as Paul Nicholls self-professed best chance of the meeting.
Many will have been disappointed to see Tiger Roll withdrawn from the Randox Grand National, but the 11-year-old remains among a list of 15 names still engaged in the Glenfarclas Chase.
Last year's winner and even-money favourite Easysland is also entered despite a rogue tweet from a fake Twitter account on Monday which suggested he had been ruled out.
'He looks banker material' – assessing the returning Cheltenham Festival winners
All the key players remain on course for the Wetherbys Champion Bumper, including 15-8 favourite Kilcruit and Sir Gerhard, who joined Willie Mullins last week from Gordon Elliott.
Only two names have scratched from the day's two handicaps meaning all the leading players in both the Coral Cup and the Grand Annual remain on target to run.
The Denise Foster-trained Grand Roi is atop the market for the Coral Cup at 7-1, while Entoucas and Sky Pirate are locked together as 7-1 joint favourites for the Grand Annual.
