Windsor is set to host one of its biggest crowds of the year when staging its first jumps meeting in almost two decades on Sunday week.

Owned by Arena Racing Company (Arc), which is situated next to the River Thames, the track staged meetings under both codes until 1998 and then hosted some of Ascot’s jumps fixtures when the royal racecourse was redeveloped during 2004 and 2005.

Four hurdle races and three chases feature on the seven-race card, with a crowd of up to 5,000 expected to be in attendance on a raceday with a Christmas family theme. There will be a choir and festive stalls along with a crafts station for children and an on-course Santa.
