'We've won a Gold Cup and we still can't get owners' - Sara Bradstock opens up about yard struggles
Sara Bradstock has outlined the "terrifying" challenge facing small trainers with her string down to just six, even though her and late husband Mark won the Cheltenham Gold Cup only nine years ago.
Bradstock has faced a major struggle to find new owners to support the operation, which sent out Coneygree to defy the odds and reach jump racing's pinnacle as a novice in 2015.
Bradstock did not have the opportunity to actively seek outside interest in the yard in the period before her husband's death in March. It left the string significantly smaller when she took over in September, having been granted a licence by the BHA.
