'We're in a great position' - Constitution Hill owner relishing Supreme mission
Leading owner Michael Buckley is under no illusions about the size of the task facing Constitution Hill in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle but is eager to test his unbeaten star against Britain and Ireland's finest.
The five-year-old, who shot to the head of the Supreme market after his commanding victory in the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown last time, featured among 61 entries for the Cheltenham Grade 1 on Tuesday, alongside his chief rivals Sir Gerhard and Dysart Dynamo, trained by Willie Mullins, and his Nicky Henderson-trained stablemate Jonbon, who maintained his unbeaten record at Haydock last week.
"We're in a great position," said Buckley, who won the Champion Chase with Finian's Rainbow in 2012. "He's won his two races pretty comfortably and I don't suppose it will be like that in March but it will be interesting to find out how good he is.
