'They could have handled it better but this isn't the end for Frankie' - Fallon
Kieren Fallon, who has known highs and lows in the sport like few others, insists Frankie Dettori and John Gosden will survive their shock split but believes both parties could have handled the headline-making break better.
Gosden, who trains in partnership with son Thady, on Friday announced he and Dettori had decided to take a sabbatical from their relationship, which looked to be over when the yard opted to use other jockeys at Newmarket on Saturday.
Those bookings came after Gosden made little attempt to hide his unhappiness at some of Dettori's rides at Royal Ascot, particularly on Stradivarius in the Gold Cup.
