'She's some jumper' - Grand National dream still alive for Nicky Henderson with Fantastic Lady a potential Aintree hope
The Grand National continues to elude Nicky Henderson, but his fortunes could soon change in the world's most famous jumps race as Aintree hopeful Fantastic Lady captains a strong female contingent at Seven Barrows.
Henderson discussed her participation in Aintree's showpiece 12 months ago, but she is a more likely runner this time round, having impressed when winning the Oaksey Chase at Sandown in April.
Fantastic Lady, who could bid to become the first mare to win the National since Nickel Coin in 1951, finished sixth in the Topham Handicap Chase at the three-day meeting in April and Henderson believes she has the attributes for the main event.
