Potters Charm set for exciting clash with The New Lion and co in red-hot Challow Hurdle
The team behind Potters Charm “certainly would not swap him” in the talented cast heading to Newbury’s Coral Challow Novices’ Hurdle, a race that is shaping up to be one of the festive highlights in Britain this month.
Dan Skelton described the Challow as “a hell of a showdown” on Saturday after signalling his intent to run course-and-distance winner The New Lion, while Paul Nicholls has landed the last four runnings and could saddle Friday’s Newbury scorer Regent’s Stroll or Quebecois, who is entered in the Winter Novices’ Hurdle at Sandown on Friday.
Potters Charm boasts a perfect 4-4 record under rules, winning impressively at Cheltenham on his last two starts, and is set to step up to Grade 1 company in the £100,000 event on December 28.
