Nicky Henderson: 'This time last year you’d be mortified if Constitution Hill was beaten, but it’s going to happen one day'
Nicky Henderson outlined the challenge Constitution Hill faces when he clashes with Lossiemouth on his first start in 12 months on Thursday and said defeat would not necessarily be a disappointment.
The unbeaten seven-year-old’s assignment in the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Christmas Hurdle (1.55) at Kempton was confirmed on Monday when declared alongside Lossiemouth, Burdett Road and Lump Sum.
Henderson said if his seven-time top-level winner lost his 100 per cent record but ran well in defeat he would be looking forward to a rematch with Lossiemouth in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
