Owner Ged Mason described his memorable four-timer across Cheltenham and Bahrain in less than 24 hours as a “pinch-me moment” and has Gold Cup dreams for exciting novice hurdler Potters Charm.

Potters Charm kicked off Mason’s flurry of winners with an impressive 11-length success in the Grade 2 novice hurdle at Cheltenham on Friday, with the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained five-year-old earning quotes of 16-1 for the Turners Novices' Hurdle. The Coral Challow Novices’ Hurdle is a potential next target at Newbury on December 28.

The exciting prospect is owned by the El Rincon partnership, named after the Spanish restaurant in Manchester where Mason, celebrating his 60th birthday, and friends agreed to buy the horse off Willy Twiston-Davies. His other owners include Sir Alex Ferguson and people entering ownership for the first time.
