Leicester the latest track to cancel with course waterlogged for Wednesday's fixture
Racing is still feeling the effects of Storm Darragh with Wednesday's meeting at Leicester the latest to fall victim of the weather.
Course officials staged an inspection for the fixture at 7.45am on Monday and were forced to draw stumps due to waterlogging and large areas of false ground.
Since the track's meeting on Thursday, there has been a total 31mm of rain, with 9mm falling overnight.
Clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson said: "It rained straight after racing on Thursday and hasn't stopped since, so it's been a bit of a nightmare.
"We've had a bit of storm damage with some rails down, but it's just the ground unfortunately.
"Looking at the weather readings, we've only had three dry days in the last 23. It's one extreme to the other because prior to that we had a month of dry weather - that's what it's like."
Saturday's meetings at Aintree, Chepstow and Wolverhampton were cancelled due to the effects of the stormy weather.
