Jockey Club and large independent racecourses to 'carefully consider' Thoroughbred Group partnership proposals
New proposals for commercial partnerships between British racing's participants and racecourses have been given a cautious welcome by representatives of the Jockey Club and large independent tracks.
Both said they shared the view that there should be a collaborative relationship between the two sides.
The comments came following the emergence of details of the proposals from the Thoroughbred Group, sent to the BHA and Racecourse Association this week, which it said were needed to ensure revenues are shared fairly across the sport's stakeholders.
