ITV Racing to show action at Hexham and Windsor as part of 2025 schedule
ITV Racing will broadcast almost 120 days this year with this month's Berkshire Winter Million at Windsor and action from Hexham among the new additions to the schedule.
Last year, 72 days were shown on ITV1, almost double the number of main channel days broadcast in 2017, and the plan is to match that this year.
Jumps action will be shown from Windsor for the first time on January 17 and January 19, while Hexham's meeting on November 7 will also be broadcast.
Key international races, the Sky Bet Sunday Series and Racing League remain in the schedule, while Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani will continue to spearhead the presenting team.
Chamberlin said: "What I'm most excited about is to be able to showcase racing from yet another racecourse. Hexham does a great job and so it's brilliant to be able to highlight what they do.
"Of course, the number of days we now have on ITV1 is equally exciting and enables us to bring racing to as big an audience as possible."
On Tuesday, ITV officially confirmed the second series of Champions: Full Gallop, a docuseries providing behind-the-scenes insight into the jumps season. The first series, which spanned six episodes, aired in a primetime slot on ITV1 at 9pm and averaged 930,000 viewers an episode.
The second series has been backed by the Horserace Betting Levy Board alongside betting and gaming giant Flutter. The Levy Board's contribution will be £865,000 towards production costs and an additional £250,000 towards Great British Racing's marketing effort around the series.
