'It's amazing the improvement he has shown' - Cieren Fallon bullish about Montassib's chance in Champions Sprint
Cieren Fallon would not swap his Qipco British Champions Sprint mount Montassib and believes the Sprint Cup hero has “a very good chance” of gaining back-to-back Group 1 wins.
All three of Fallon’s top-level victories have come in sprints, having landed the July Cup and King’s Stand on Oxted and Haydock’s feature Flat contest on the William Haggas-trained Montassib.
The six-year-old has won four of his six starts since reverting to six furlongs at the back end of last season and has been successful on all three of his tries on soft ground.
