'It would be a hard decision to retire her when she's on such an upward curve' - Bluestocking's future up in the air
Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Bluestocking has been ruled out of a crack at next month's Breeders' Cup at Del Mar as connections assess whether to keep her in training as a five-year-old.
The Ralph Beckett-trained filly gave owners Juddmonte a record seventh success in the Arc when beating Aventure and Los Angeles to give trainer Ralph Beckett and jockey Rossa Ryan a coveted first win in the Longchamp spectacular.
Barry Mahon, racing manager to Juddmonte, flew back from Paris on Sunday evening to be at Tattersalls in Newmarket on Monday ahead of Book 1 of the three-day October Yearling Sales, which begins on Tuesday.
