Here is a selection of the best quotes from a top three days at Cheltenham's November meeting . . .

I felt like such a wally after his last win saying he was the apple of my eye and could be the best, but now he's put a 140-rated horse away like that. I'm feeling a bit vindicated now. We're very lucky to have a horse like this.
Willy Twiston-Davies is delighted his faith in Potters Charm has been proven well placed after an impressive Grade 2 novice hurdle win on Friday

Jockey gets 12-day ban for taking wrong course as Sweet David wins chaotic cross-country for France

There's another horse we like a lot called Lavender Hill Mob. He'll be running in early December. He's better on the Flat, schools well and should be a nice horse. He also likes soft ground.
James Owen landed the Triumph Hurdle Trial with East India Dock on Saturday and believes he has another smart type to unleash in the division next month

East India Dock cut to 10-1 for Triumph Hurdle but delighted James Owen could have an even better one for festival prize

Freddie is coming along nicely. He’s going to ride an awful lot of ours and he will for his uncle Joe [Tizzard]. He’s very much like Harry Cobden was at the same stage of his career. He’s keen, hungry and works hard. He deserves all the success he gets.
Paul Nicholls heaps praise on Freddie Gingell after the 18-year-old conditional steered Il Ridoto to Paddy Power Gold Cup success on Saturday

'This is what you dream of' - 18-year-old Freddie Gingell stars at Cheltenham again on Il Ridoto in Paddy Power Gold Cup

We would love to win both [championships], of course we would. I'm not going to stand here and say we wouldn't. That's our dream. That's what we're working towards, 100 per cent.
Harry Skelton makes it clear that he and his brother Dan will be going all out for the jockeys' and trainers' championship this season.

'They're a pain in the arse at times, so it was good to beat them' - Paul Nicholls has good reason to be pleased and proud

It's like Wembley or Twickenham or wherever and even now, at 60 years of age, I get a fair buzz out of having a winner around here. As Mick Fitzgerald said one time, it's better than whatever! It's that emotion and that joy.
Tony Martin expresses his delight after Hamsiyann's win in the 2m5f handicap hurdle on Saturday, his first winner back since his suspensions for breaking anti-doping rules and joining in celebrations after Alphonse Le Grande won the Northumberland Vase at Newcastle while he was still serving his ban.

'I've had a sh** year, so that was sweet, really sweet' - Tony Martin celebrates first post-suspension winner at Cheltenham

This is the best team we've ever had. We've always hoped to be here and having horses like L'Eau Du Sud is brilliant. He really could [win an Arkle]. There are horses with sexier form than him over hurdles and if Ballyburn goes chasing that's all you guys will talk about all winter. We know it's going to be hard, but why not dream? It's great fun.
Dan Skelton is looking forward to taking on the best of the Irish at Cheltenham this year, including with Arkle hope L'Eau Du Sud.

Same as it ever was or might this season be different? How the British challenge is shaping up against the awesome Irish

I’m really looking forward to the rest of the season with him. There’s a long way to go until the Champion Hurdle. Obviously on his Flat form he’s more than capable of getting there. We’ll aim that way and I’m not sure where we’ll go next, although I’m sure it will be a Graded race.
A fantastic week for James Owen concluded with Burdett Road's excellent performance in the Greatwood, and he could be aimed at the very top next
