Harry Redknapp on The Jukebox Man, a potential clash with Ballyburn and 'a nice touch' with the first horse he owned
Harry Redknapp is relishing a potential clash of future Gold Cup contenders in this year's Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, with the high-profile owner of Britain's leading staying novice chaser The Jukebox Man excited to take on the mighty Ballyburn at the Cheltenham Festival.
Redknapp believes The Jukebox Man “can’t have done any more” in two impressive wins over fences and has high hopes for his Brown Advisory candidate in a race won by this year's Gold Cup entries Fact To File, L'Homme Presse and The Real Whacker since 2022.
The Jukebox Man is the general 5-1 second favourite after following up a Grade 2 win at Newbury in November with a first Grade 1 success in the Kauto Star Novices’ Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.
